It knew those who in 1990 take a part in opening the legendary museum named "Tula's samovars". It is located on the Mendeleev str., in a building designed by architect V.Sirotkin at the end of XX century. You can find here an unique collection of samovars produced in Tula. Broadest exhibition of ancient Russian exhibits, created by Tula' masters, located in three big halls. Here you can get good knowledge about development of samovar production!!! The first hall shows samples of Tula samovar produced by 2 to 4 centuries ago. The visitors have a chance to see an interesting tool, so-called “sbytennyk” - vessel from which samovar is originates. With it, the ancestors of modern Tula prepared drinks of spices, honey and herbs, the legend of which have reached our contemporaries.
